Back in 1990, Alan Jones moved from the South Island to Devonport for a complete change of lifestyle and opportunity. At the time he realized that his broad legal background could be applied to general practice – one that would benefit the local community with his calm approach.

The decision to open the doors of Alan Jones law in the heart of Devonport Village over 30 years ago led to a well-established reputation, deep connections to the area and a close-knit team.

Alan’s affection for the area, the long-term support of Rachel Burrows and Kate Jones, the work and the generations of families supported over the years meant he wanted the legacy to continue. Lesley joined the team in September 2020 and recently became a business partner, signalling a new era and a lasting offering.

Carol Allen, an experienced legal executive, then joined the team in January of 2021 and Maria in August of 2022.
